Mandir
is a place of spiritual enlightenment. It has been a part of
Indian culture (in general) for more than 8,000 years. Shikarbadh
mandirs are traditions that must be kept alive for centuries
to come. It is a place of refuge and where spiritual guidance
is sought. It is a center of peace and harmony. We are taught
the major concepts of sanatan dharma so we progress spiritually
and mentally and ultimately attain salvation and reach akshardham
and finally put an end to this cycle of births and deaths. We
will pass our religion down from generation to generation and
eventually the world will accept our truth. It is a place where
you can come into contact of an ekantik sant and can meet Bhagwan.
By merely glancing at the murtis of Maharaj and Swami the importance
of mandir is understood. We are inspired to lead virtuous lives
and to help others do the same. The world will be shown the
glory of the Swaminaryan Sampraday and will one day unite into
a single family. Mandir is so great that I can not explain 1%
of how great it is. It must be supported and enforced in every
family (not just Indian).

Mandir
is the house of God & SwamiBapa. It is the place where there
is always a peaceful and divine atmosphere. It is the place
where religious knowledge is shared between Santos and Haribhaktos.
Mandir is where everyone is Welcome, Everyone feels close to
God. Mandir is not just a building and it not just a place.
The type of internal feeling Haribhaktos achieve when they visit
Mandir can't be expressed in words. "There is no place
like Mandir".

Swamibapa
always says ghar ne mandir bhanavo, ne mandir ne ghar bhanavo.
Therefore I would say that mandir is our home. The importance
of mandir is that we should at lease go to mandir once in a
week, thats why we have mandirs. We have mandir because so we
can pray to maharaj if we have any problems. If we pray to maharaj
and swami, maharaj will solve all our problems and help us reach
to Akshardham. This is why we need mandir because we need to
pray to maharaj and swami. Jai Swaminarayan!

The
most important part of the mandir to me is Maharaj. The whole
mandir has been built for Maharaj. It is the home of Maharaj.
The whole purpose of going to the mandir is going to have darshan
of Maharaj. Then comes Gunatitanand Swami. He is Anadi Mool
Akshar, Maharaj's dham.

A mandir is a place where people come to worship God, a place
where the brain gets peace, a holy place where we get to know
about our extraordinary culture. In a mandir we get to talk
to god. Our guru Pramukh swami maharaj is builing mind-blowing
temples for us to go and worship god and to make him happy so
that he could take us to akshardham. a temple is a place where
God himself lives.

Just like christans have a church The imprtance of mandirs
is that they provide a direct connection to bhagwan. There we
can pray and he will listen. Also just like we live is houses/flat/banglow,
a mandir is the home of bhagwan. Just like Christens have a
church, Muslims a mosque, Sikhs a gudwara, Jews a synagogue.
We have a mandir that is a direct link to bhagwan. When we enter
a mandir we should feel at peace from the worldly pleasures
because we are now with bhagwan in his home. A mandir is a place
for learning about society, nature and bhagwan. It is also a
place by where it will reinforce ones faith in maharaj and swami
through festivals or sad times when people seek shelter. A mandir
is an important part of life just like food and water. Js,
