My Mandir, My Home
The Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav’s Grand Finale is just about to begin! Pramukh Swami Maharaj gave us many wonderful gifts. One such gift was his mandirs. Even today, these mandirs are places where we can go to practice bhakti, learn about ourselves, and meet people who believe the things that we do.

Jai swaminarayan , I do attend my favorite place every Sunday which is my mandir in Los Angeles California . I like going to mandir every Sunday because it makes me feel happy , as Sunday is always for mandir my family don’t make any plans for Sunday . At mandir I enjoy all the activities such as doing Darshan with my mom , attending Gujarati class , but my favourite is sabha time which is from 3:30pm-5 pm , I really enjoy the Hindu stories , and childhood stories and prasang of Maharaj and my guru that gives me an idea how should I lead my life .

Jai Swaminaryan I do attend mandir regularly every Sunday for my sabha and Gujarati class , there is no doubt Pramukh swami had a vision after all the mandir he had build , his vision has a focus to make all the younger generation under stand there culture and there God . At mandir I enjoy all the activity from attending my Gujarati class , sabha, playing with my friends , doing Darshan and serving dinner to all the . But my foremost favorite thing is doing detail Darshan of Maharaj and swami which gives me inner peace and I feel proud when remember all the Maharaj outfit , imagine him same as is before going to bed .. My mandir my home .

Jay Swaminarayan I attend Seattle BAPS Mandir in WA. One of my favorite things to do in Mandir is doing darshan. Whenever I do darshan, I make sure I do at least 2-5 malas, if I have more time I do 3-8 malas. I remember, 'When we go to someone's home do we leave without meeting the owner/host?'. In the same way Mandir is Bhagwan's home & can we leave without meeting Bhagwan? I attend mandir every Saturday if I have nothing else to do. I attend the mandir in Edison, New Jersey, but I live in Piscataway, New Jersey. my favorite activity to take in mandir is Gujarati classes since I was born in New Jersey, and Gujarati is my mother language. I speak English and Gujarati, but I am not as fluent as my parents. I love to take Gujarati classes because I want to learn how to write, read, and speak Gujarati with my parents and grandparents.

Pramukh Swami Maharaj Has gifted many mandirs. One such is the Mandir in San Jose, California I attend every weekend. My favorite activity is to help in any type of seva. Whether it is Gujarati Assistant or helping Aunties in PR Seva. I love to do any seva that is given.
