On 7 and 8 August 2004, a one–and–a–half day shibir was held by the New Delhi Bal Mandal, to encourge the children in Satsang, culture and studies. The children were inspired by the talks and blessings of Pujya Mahant Swami and Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami.

In the first session, Pujya Mahant Swami gave spiritual guidance. Then followed various games and a video about BAPS, through which the children also obtained guidance.

On the second day, there was a samuh puja. Many new balaks took niyams to do daily personal-puja. After breakfast, the children obtained guidance about studies and self-development through games, video shows and group discussions. In his blessings, Pujya Mahant Swami emphasized the necessity of faith in Bhagwan and avoiding bad company for progress in life.

In the final, afternoon, session, the children watched programs about Hindu culture and traditions, especially about incidents of BAPS balaks abroad, who have cultivated the ideals of our culture and Satsang. At the end everyone received a memento.
