During January 2005, over 3000 BAPS Children’s Centers organized sports days in which both indoor and outdoor competitions were held.
The outdoor events included Sprints, Long distance runing, Lemon & spoon race, Slow cycling, tug-of-war, etc. Indoor events included chess, carrom, etc.
Through such events, the children develop a sports of friendship, unity and sportsmanship. They also have an opportunity to display and develop their sporting skills.
