Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj has inspired and instructed devotees to deliver discourses (katha varta) and to remove the belief that 'only sadhus can deliver discourses.' That's why today a number of devotees deliver marvelous discourses. The question naturally arises. If the elders could do it why not the children? With this in mind the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha's Bal Pravutti arranged 'Katha Yagna' for the first time. Out of the trained child kathakars, groups of 4 to 5 children were formed from different Bal-Balika mandals. Each group visited devotees' houses to deliver discourses. First, a puja was performed as per shastras. Thereafter, children delivered discourses and elaborated 'Swami ni Vato'. Devotees were greatly impressed by children's performance.
