As part of the BAPS centenary celebrations a mega-convention was held for children at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir on Sunday 11 March 2007 from 9.00 to 11.00 am.
This special assembly was attended by over 1000 balaks, 1250 balikas, 150 bal karyakars and 175 balika karyakars.
Pujya Satsangijivan Swami, Kothari of Amdavad Mandir, lit the ceremonial divo to inaugurate the assembly.
Following the singing of dhun and prarthana, the BAPS Gatha was presented, a speech on Shastriji Mahraj was given by Rishikesh Swami and Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s blessings we shown.
In the end, all the children and karyakars resolved to live by the ideals taught by Bhagwan Swaminarayan, Pramukh Swami Maharaj and the BAPS. |
