As a part of the B.A.P.S Centenary celebrations, Cricket and Table tennis tournaments were organized at Delhi Akshardham.
8 teams of selected players from across Delhi took part in the cricket tournament. The matches of 13-14 age group saw a nail-biting finish. ‘Akshardham’ team won the B.A.P.S Centenary Cup after 3 Sundays of exciting cricket.
36 children took part in the Table Tennis Tournament. Saurabh Joshi from Prahladpur and Shreyas Joshi from Lajpatnager reached the finals of table tennis. Shreyas Joshi won the final match.
On 24th November 2007, the Akshardham team was awarded the B.A.P.S Centenary Cup by Shrihari Swami and Pujya Atmaswaroop Swami. The runners up were also felicitated with a trophy.
Similarly, table tennis champion Shreyas Joshi was awarded a trophy. Saurabh Joshi was awarded the First Runner up Prize.
Every participant was given a PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE at the end of the event.
Thus a very beautiful and interesting sports event was organized on the eve of the BAPS CENTENARY.
