To celebrate the arrival of Swamishri and to pray for his long and healthy life, more than 135 bal-balikas of Bhavanagar observed a fast for 88 long hours. In this act of supreme devotion the children showed tremendous courage and determination for three days starting from 10/03/08 till 13/03/08. A large number of parents turned out at the venue and supported the herculean task of the children by singing kirtans and dhun. Against all odds and more temptations, many children fought and successfully completed the fast. Swamishri was overwhelmed by the devotion shown and was extremely pleased by their determination. Tarang Chaklasiya, Vyas Pranjal and Dharmesh Majethiya were three of the youngest members who participated in the fast. They are only ten years old but still they finished the task that they had taken up because of their immense love and devotion for Swamishri. On the last day a huge procession was taken out which saw a gathering of more than 175 children from all over Bhavnagar. The procession started at 5 in the morning and ended with a prayer at the mandir. A mahapuja was organized at the end of the visit and the children were blessed by Guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
