4th Annual Day Function

“ Theme  - Join Hands In Unity”

With auspicious blessings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and our Guru Pujya Shri Pramukh Swami Maharaj, BAPS-S.V.M.,Raisan organized their 4th Annual Day Function on 13.01.2010 at BAPS Swamianarayan Mandir,Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

The program started with Dhun-Prarthana followed by the lightening of the lamp by Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami and other sadhus.
The honourable chief guest– Mrs. Jayanti Ravi, IAS (Commissioner of higher Education–Gujarat), Guest of  honour - Shri Sunilbhai Patel and other saints were honored by presenting bouquets of flowers.

Showers of blessings were preached in the form of welcome speech given by Pujya Brahmvihari Swami. His speech was followed by Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami’s blessings to the audience by conveying the method of nurturing the children in a way wherein we should follow first, what we expect from our children as they imitate and learn from us.
         
“Great minds have purpose, while others just have wishes”

The theme of the programme ------- “Join hands in unity” reflects very well with our National Slogan ---- “Unity in Diversity”. The whole programme that followed was presented by the students of the standard 9th, who personified different flowers. They imparted the message that ----

Although we belong to different states we are, All Indians first. We will strive and work hard to maintain for the unity of our Nation.


There after all the regional dances chiefly, Maharashtra, Bengal, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab were performed by the students of pre-primary, primary and secondary sections.

It was a thrilling, fun-filled evening, packed with the variety of the events from dance to drama, from songs to slide shows.

Honoring the students for their skills and efforts put in by the children in different fields during the academic year 2009-10 was also a part of this function.
