Geeta shloka competition is organised every year by the Chinmaya mission in Ahmedabad. This year more than thousand students of different schools had participated in the tenth Addhaya of Bhagwad Gita.

All the students were supposed to learn the verses of the tenth Addhaya according to their age and group. Our BAPS Raisan school also participated in this competition wherein the 300 students of different standard 1 to 10 recited the shlokas on 22nd Oct’10. Out of that around 25 students were selected for semifinal round held at the Chinmaya mission, Ahmedabad.

We are really proud to declare that in the final round 11 students of our school have been awarded the best chanting awards in different groups.

They were given the prizes by our honorable Mayor at the river front programme on 14th Nov’ Sunday i.e. Children’s day.

We congratulate all the students for their best efforts.

Out of 11 students 2 students have been awarded as the best speaker awards in group B and our school has received the best participating school award.
