To commemorate the BAPS Centenary year, balaks from the BAPS center in Nairobi, Kenya held a series of six public assemblies: at Ruiru on 9 December 2006, Thika on 10 December 2006, Machakos on 17 December 2006, Nglara on 28 January 2007, South C on 10 February 2007 and Nairobi on 25 February 2007. In these special assemblies, attended by a total of over 1500 people, the balaks presented speeches, bhajans and instrumental music. The assemblies also featured audio-visual presentations on Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi. The excellent presentations by the children were truly appreciated by all.

Similar assemblies will be held by balaks from Other BAPS centers in East Africa during the forthcoming April vacation.
