With blessing from our Guru Hari Pramukh Swami Maharaj and guidance from Vadil Santo, BAPS Bal Mandal Nairobi organized a Shibir for Bal-Balikas of Kenya Mandal. A total of 250 bal balikas attended the Shibir.
Shibir started on 1st Jan, 2010 with welcome sabha in Nij Mandir. P. Bhaktavatsal Swami and P. Rajeshwar Swami did deep pragatya after which P. Bhaktavatsal Swami gave a welcome speech to motivate balakos.
On 2nd Jan 2010, shibir began with Sangar Aarti after which all the bal-balika did Samuh Puja. There after they did yogasan.
The shibir was on the 6 niyams that our Guru Hari gave us to be an ideal child of Shriji Maharaj, which are as follows,
- Do Puja daily.
- Respect Parents.
- Attend sabha regularly.
- Study hard.
- Avoid bad books, company and TV.
- Read Satang books daily.
The topics were presented in different ways to make kids understand it, we had dramas, live prasangs presentation, video show, presentation in slide shows, debate and speech. All the Santo’s gave a great speech on the above topics to help all kids follow them and make our Guru Hari receive his blessing s in return.
On 3rd Jan 2010, we kept outing for kids, as we were celebrating Dabla utsav on that day. So all kids enjoyed the outing and there we gave out the prizes to best Mandal in Shibir as well as best Bal-Balika, the prize giving was done in main sabha of dabla utsav. P. Bhaktavatsal Swami gave the prizes to the kids and gave then blessing to do well in there study, at home and in Satsang as well. The sadhus and Bal Karyakars worked hard to make this Shibir a great success.
