Sydney Bal-Balika Mandal this year celebrated Yogiji maharaj’s Birthday in a unique way. To imbibe Yogiji maharaj’s eternal wish, ‘O! God do good of all,’ in their life Sydney Bal-Balika Mandal held a Get Well Soon Prayer Sabha at a well-known Children’s Hospital in Sydney, The Westmead Children’s Hospital on 12 June 2005..

Nearly 20 selected Bal-Balikas visited the hospital for a prayer sabha, which took place in a special prayer room provided by the hospital officials. The sabha started with stuti and a prayer. Balaks presented their views on how they can help the sick and needy, by performing prayers and showing their love and affection towards them.

Sanchalaks reminded the balaks on how Yogiji Maharaj used to take care of sick people and also how currently Pramukh Swami Maharaj still visits hospitals and homes, sharing his love and affection with the sick people.

The children were explained the importance of being careful in their daily activities like crossing roads, eating, playing, etc. to avoid the risk of any accidents or illnesses.

Lastly, all Bal-Balikas narrated their get well soon wishes in a special “Hospital Wishes Diary” which is frequently read out to stressed and shocked parents to relieve them from their Traumas.

Below are a few excerpts from the beautiful wishes made on the day:

  • “Please make them well and healthy so they can go to school and live normal life.”
  • “Dear Bapa! These children’s Parents do not like to come to hospital daily, so please make their kids get well so they can go home and play with their friends and family.”
