A Bal-Balika Shibir was held from 21-22 March, 2008 in Auckland, New Zealand. More than 60 boys and girls aged 7 to 13 attended the shibir which was held over two days in the presence of regional sadhus doing vicharan in he Asia-Pacific region.

The shibir, held at BAPS Mandir, Auckland, focused on the theme, “Eva Mara Swami”. The participants learnt about Swamishri’s unique santliness, humility and love for humanity through various speeches and presentations.

The sadhus also discussed topics such as Positive Thinking, Observing Niyams, Respecting Parents and Swamishri an Ideal Role Model. The Karyakars performed an inspiring skit on super heroes which emphasized that Swamishri is the real hero in our lives. The Bal-Balikas were spiritually and morally recharged by the shibir which also had interesting videos and a samuh pooja session.

Many new participants learnt the basics of nitya pooja. Everyone felt motivated to progress in their studies and satsang.
