    Prayers for the Haiti Earthquake victims

With the start of the new decade, global war, violence and disasters continue to impact the lives of millions of people around the world. BAPS children and youth regularly gather and pray for calm and peace for all those who need it.
 
In light of the recent earthquake disaster in the small Caribbean island nation of Haiti, the balaks and balikas of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Sydney gathered for an annual Vishwa Shanti Puja to pray for the victims. 
 
On Saturday the 6th of February, a total of 55 balaks and balikas gathered in the morning at 7.30am. Following morning aarti the balaks and balikas were seated separately ready to start their puja’s in front of Maharaj’s murti.
 
A short speech was made to the bal-balikas, shedding light on the reasons behind the Vishwa Shanti Puja to pray for peace and calm for the children and people in Haiti.
  

BAPS Sydney and worldwide continue to pray for all those affected by the Haiti disaster and wish for peace and calm for all people around the world.
