    Yogiji Maharaj’s Birthday Celebration
6 June 2010, Brisbane, Australia

On Sunday 6 June 2010 over 200 devotees attended Yogiji Maharaj’s Birthday Celebration held at Moorooka State School in Brisbane, where the entire celebration assembly was presented the Bal Mandal.

At the start of assembly the balaks sang dhun, prarthna, stuti and the kirtan “Yogi avo te rang mune shid lagadyo...”.

Following this, speeches were presented by balaks on Yogiji Maharaj’s life from childhood to initiation, his life as a Sadhu, and his love for children and youths in general. The children also spoke about the three principles Yogiji Maharaj so often talked about: samp, suhradbhav and ekta.

The balaks then participated in a quiz on Yogiji Maharaj’s life called “Jnan Sathe Gammat”.

The categories for the quiz were Yogiji Maharaj and his life, BAPS, Screen Test and General Knowledge.  The quiz was informative and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The final part of the assembly involved the Shishu Mandal reciting Swamini Vatos which they had memorized beforehand. The sabha concluded with Yogiji Maharaj’s message of regularly attending the weekly satsang assembly. Parents were also inspired through a multimedia presentation on the worldwide activities of the BAPS Children’s Forum.
