More than 83 children and teenagers took part in the drawing competition organized at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Adelaide, Australia, on 10 April 2011. This year’s theme was ‘Holi-Dhuleti’ – ‘Festival of Colors’. The topic was revealed to the youngsters in advance so that they could prepare a mental picture of what to draw. Different forms of art were used by the youngsters. For example, some of the kishoris drew rangoli, whilst shishus filled colors in a sketch. All the participants were given one hour to complete their drawings. The winners were honoured in the Sunday satsang assembly and rewarded with prizes.
