Adelaide, Australia, September 21, 2014– It was Brahmaswaroop Yogiji Maharaj’s vision to instil the moral values of humanity and spirituality in children through balsabha. Today, globally, tens of thousands of children participate in BAPS bal mandals to mould and shape their lives as per the ideals of Swaminarayan faith, the roots of which are based in the Vedas.
This year children from Adelaide bal mandal presented an outstanding cultural programme themed “Safalta nu fal” on Sunday 21st of September 2014 at University of South Australia’s auditorium in Magill.  The evening had an audience of more than 450 devotees and well-wishers.

Children inaugurated the evening by hailing jaynaadof the childhood names of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and lineage of Gurus followed by the singing of hymns. Children also presented aparayan on the holy scripture Vachnamrut.

The main highlight of this evening was the cultural program portraying the lives of child heroes like Arjun, Eklavya, Panini and similar role models from India’s ancient history. About 30 children aged between 5 and 12 performed this play to effectively communicate the importance of living an ideal life to achieve overall success. This was followed by a dance on “Ame nani si khiskholi”which shared the key message of “power of unity” and “power of pure devotion” with the audience.

The evening concluded with video blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj which crowned the 2 hours presentation with his guidance on ideal parenting and importance of transmitting values to our children.

Clearly the evening left a long lasting inspirational impact at hearts of many parents and children.
