London Balika Mandal and Sanchalikas arranged a special programme dedicated to mothers. The program started with the mahapuja performed by the Balikas. Balikas then gave a speech describing the mothers love and care for us. A play was also performed on a mother who sacrificed her time to care for her children. The play taught them that they should understand their mothers; respect, listen and obey them. The Sanchalikas gave speeches to the daughters in the audience - to understand mothers.
At the end, mothers shared their experiences about their daughters and on how Balika Mandal has had an effect in their lives. The daughters and mothers gave sakar to each other signifying how sweet the relationship should be between mothers and daughters.
Over 100 mothers and daughters participated in this mahapuja.
