Sant ne Naamu hu Shisha…” - School
18 Dec 2005, London, UK
“Eva Sant ne Naamu hu Shisha…” This was the theme taken for Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s birthday celebrations in the London Sunday School on 18th December. 300 Balaks from London and surrounding suburbs attended the grand event in which many of them brought along a friend especially for the occasion.
In traditional style the Balaks were entertained through mind, body and…..stomach! The day’s events started at 10am where the balaks were treated with chairs to sit on and learnt from the presentations performed by Amitbhai, Bhavinbhai, Kirtanbhai and Riddhishbhai that Pramukh Swami Maharaj is our best friend and is above all worldly possessions and desire. A special hilarious drama was performed by the Sanchalaks titled “Kanu Kanjus and the Philosophers stone”, based on the Faulty Towers comedy show wherein a hunt is made for the most powerful treasure in the world – The Satpurush.
A special amusement park in the school Gym comprising of activities such as Human-Table football, mega connect-4, football, basketball and a 40ft inflatable bouncy assault course!
Delicious Pizza, Chips and Cakes was then served to all the Balaks and Balikas and they were gifted a super duper party bag and Akshardham bookmark as they went home!
