On Friday, 17th February 2006, South London Bal-Balika Mandal hosted Fun Day, an event in which the balaks just basically had fun! The aim of this event was to reward the balaks for their hard work in the first term, as well as being an opportunity to invite new balaks - all the regular balaks were asked to invite a friend to the event. This event was also attended by P. Manoharmurti Swami. The balaks were spoilt by the range of activities they could take part in. Games such as towel kabadi, football, cricket and table tennis were organized, along with pool, snooker, table football and classic board games such as Jenga.
The Shishu Mandal also took part in activities such as crazy golf and 10 pin bowling, which they all enjoyed. To end the evening, a delicious meal was served to all the balaks. In total 110 bal/balikas took part in the event, of which 10 were new. Many Bal-Balikas who previously stopped attending Bal Mandal returned due to this event. The evening was a great success due to the hard work and efforts of the South London Karyakars. Well done everyone!
