Age: 13
Achievement: LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic
Arts) Award for Public speaking. Amit achieved distinction at grades
1, 2 and 3. The topic he had to speak on was someone he knew. Amit spoke
on Swamishri, his qualities, and his work. Amit is also a very good
student and gets good marks in all his work at school.
Other Achievements: He is a regular attendee of the Bal Mandal in London
and has also excelled in his Satsang and is regarded by his Sanchalaks
as a future Karyakar. In the past adhiveshans, Amit has also got awards
for speech.
He is also very athletic and takes an avid interest in football. He
was also a part of the recent Pramukh Cup (football tournament) winning
team.

Age: 12
Achievement: Nominated for the NAGT (National Academy for Gifted
and Talented Youth). Membership of the NAGT is only given to selected
students that are in the top 5% in the country. Kirtan had to pass a
Maths test with high grades as well as a verbal/non-verbal skills test.
Other Achievements: Kirtan has always been studious from a very young
age. He is a regular attendee of the Bal Mandal in London. Kirtan has
also taken part in previous adhiveshans in which he has gained several
awards for singing, speech and mukhpath. He has done well in the Satsang
Exams and has gained top marks. He has a powerful memory and the ability
to concentrate for long periods. |
