On 26th March, Leicester Balika Mandal held its 5th annual celebration for the mothers & daughters Mahapuja.
The Mahapuja vidhi took place in the main mandir hall. In total 200 mums & daughters took part in the mahapuja. The Balika's conducted the whole Mahapuja and explained the Vidhi to be followed by the mums and Balikas. The Balikas who conducted the vidhi were Kayuri Patel, Aarti Amin, Divya Patel, Bella Chotilya, Neelam Patel, Neha Chauhan Maansi Kalyan. Everyone present experienced the divinity of the occasion. Nimuben Waghela (Mahila Mandal ACO) spoke on the relationship that should exist between Mothers & Daughters.
Balika's made Mother's day cards and also wrote poems. An exhibition was put up by the Sah- Sanchalikas in the foyer for everyone to view.
All the success was due to the great team work by all the Sanchalikas.
At the end, everyone was served with lunch and was also given a gift of a murti of Nilkanth Varni. Thanks to the three sponsors.
