Name: Parimal A Rana
Age: 9
Achievement: He is an exceptionally talented footballer and plays
for the Pinner Albion Football Club, (part of the Middlesex FA) where
he has consistently topped the score charts over the last two seasons.
When asked how he manages to score so many goals Parimal replied "
when I am playing on the field, I imagine that Swami is watching the
game and is cheering me on..."
In addition to playing for Pinner Albion, Parimal trained with Queens
Park Rangers Football Club in February 2006 where he won the best player
award in the 9-13 age group and in April 2006 he trained with Arsenal
Football Club and received the top award and medals for accuracy in
striking and passing the ball. Parimal will continue training with Arsenal
during school vacations.
Other
Achievements: Parimal attends the Swaminarayan School in Neasden
and the Bal Mandal at the London Mandir. As well as football Parimal
enjoys other sports and is currently learning to play Golf and has passed
the intermediate stage and progressing well at Bronze level and will
embark upon the Silver and Gold stages early in 2007. |
