Your Unity is My Health

Swamishri was in Anand. There was a shibir going on for 200 youths who had come from America and England. Swamishri arrived at the auditorium to participate in the shibir. There was a session in the shibir called “Unity.” In it, the youths played a set of games with Swami Bapa. Finally, Swami Bapa spoke to the kids. By the time he had finished, the youths were overjoyed that Bapa had taken time to play games with them and talk to them for over an hour. But when everyone looked at the clock it was 12:50 p.m. Swami Bapa always has lunch at 12:30. Doctors have told him to eat at a regular time each day in order to stay healthy.

One kishore apologised, “Bapa, we’re sorry that we took so much of your time. Because of us, you are late for lunch.”

Swami Bapa replied, “Don’t worry about my health or my lunch. All that is important is that you keep unity, togetherness, and oneness in your lives.”

If Swamishri values unity more than even his own health, then we should surely keep unity in our Bal Mandal.
