One day, Swamishri was going to
Maninagar, a suburb of Amdavad to attend a sabha. As he got out of the
car, a haribhakta immediately started talking with him because they
were running late, the sevak sant insisted that the haribhakta continue
the conversation after the sabha. However, Swamishri knew that the haribhakta
had been waiting for a while and wanted to talk right away The haribhakta
started his conversation, thinking that it would be finished by the
time they got to the steps of the stage.
Throughout the walk, Swamishri listened patiently and attentively. As
they reached the bottom of the steps to the stage, he realized that
the haribhakta had not finished his discussion. So he waited for him
to finish.
Next to the steps of the stage, there was a fire ant mound. The ants
crawled up Swamishri's legs. Swamishri probably felt the ants biting
him. Yet he did not budge. He continued listening to the haribhakta
as if nothing had happened. The haribhakta soon finished. Swamishri
took his seat on the stage.
While arranging Swamishri's seat to make it comfortable, the sevak sant
noticed the ants on Swamishri's legs. Two santos then quickly removed
the ants with towels for five minutes. They also applied medicine to
treat the burning feeling. Swamishri calmly let the sevaks remove the
fire ants and continued listening to the sabha as if nothing happened.
