Only God and His saint can give us peace.

Tulsidas has said: ‘Surpur Narpur Nãgpur, ye tin me sukh nãhi, yã sukh Hari ke charan me, yã santna ke mãhi' (You may look in paradise, on earth or in hell, nowhere will you find happiness. For happiness can only be found at the Lord’s feet or with His chosen saint). Only  God and His saint can give us peace. If you keep God in your heart, tranquillity will pervade. By realising God to be the all-doer one experiences tranquillity. A true devotee regards every action of God to be perfect. Every man experiences difficulties in life; one who has not sought refuge in the Lord, he often turns to suicide (in order to escape misery). Whereas, one who has such shelter, he looks to the Satpurush, who in turn gives him the strength and inspiration to keep on going.
