1988, Swamishri was in London. Whilst Swamishri was eating breakfast, the balaks lovingly sang the kirtan ‘Akshardhamna balak…’ Swamishri remembered this. Can you concentrate whilst eating? Probably not. But Swamishri is unique. After finishing breakfast, Swamishri approached the balaks and asked, “What is Arti?” Swamishri himself gave the answer.
“Arti is when we light a divo in front of Bhagwan and we move it around in a circular motion. By performing the Arti we absorb some of Bhagwans  divinity.”
