Doing what the guru says is brahmavidya.

Yogiji Maharaj instructed the youths to wash utensils, clean toilets and clear garbage heaps. Then only is the knowledge of Brahma attained.

Shastriji Maharaj used to engage even people of high rank in service to lay the foundation of a mandir.

First, our mind should be fully subdued. Service should be done with all humility and by earning everyone’s affection. Service performed with tolerance shines out. Be humble. Only by being humble is work accomplished.

If we cultivate the spirit of humility, service and servility, there is peace at heart. Be the lowest of the low.
Bend like grass. Treat words as fragments of space. If someone calls you a fool – it applies to the body, not the soul. The soul has no caste or community.
