Pramukh Swami Maharaj is My Partner

Pramukh Swami Maharaj is My Partner

This memorable and marvelous incident is from unforgettable Bal Din, An entertaining and inspiring 4th day of grand Baps Centenary Celebrations at Ahmadabad.

The ideal bal sabha, set up on stage, had been calm until now. But one balak soon expressed his discontent. "Amarbhaiya!" he exclaimed. "We totally forgot to play a game!" Amarbhaiya agreed. It was time to play a game, everyone decided. They soon began playing "Find a Partner." In this game, balaks have to form groups of a certain number. Anyone left is out of the game.

The game began with the balaks making groups of five. There were 35 balaks, and so seven groups were quickly formed. Nobody was left out. The next round began. This time, it was groups of just two. Everyone ran back and forth looking to pair. The balaks formed 17 groups. But this time little Rahul was left out.

Everyone began calling: Rahul's out! Rahul's out! For a few moments, Rahul did not know what to do. But suddenly, he had a thought. He ran speedily towards the main stage. His sanchalak stopped him. Rahul, you are out… Rahul! Rahul replied: I'm not out. His sanchalak asked: How? Who is your partner? Rahul pointed at Swamishri and answered boldly: My friend Pramukh Swami Maharaj is my partner. I'm not out. Before anyone knew it, he ran straight up to Swamishri and said: Look, Swami Bapa! All these are my friends, but right now only you are with me. You are not only mine. You belong to the whole world. And you are a friend forever. Rahul then stretched his hand out towards

Swamishri and said: What do you say, Swami? You are everyone's friend, right? To everyone's delight, Swamishri stretched his hand out, too, and gave Rahul a 'five'. The entire sabha - 120,000 devotees, including many balaks - froze to see this scene. It was an expression of Swamishri's divine relationship with his balaks. Rahul's eyes, as well as many other eyes in the audience, were left teary.
