Saying of Swamishri

God is the all-doer

On 30 April 2006, Dr Prashant Chhaya, an orthopaedic surgeon, came to Junagadh for Swamishri’s darshan. He revealed, “I can barely manage the five employees in my clinic. How do you manage this gigantic Sanstha?”

“God manages everything,” Swamishri replied in one sentence.

Dr Chhaya was persistent, “I understand that, but he works through you. How do you manage them?”

“God is the all-doer. If you believe in that divine concept, you can inspire everyone. God works through all of us. If we understand everyone’s greatness, cooperate with them and work to please God, everything falls in to place.”

President and owner of Torrent Pharmaceuticals, U.N. Mehta, came for Swamishri’s darshan in Ahmedabad on 26 December 1994.
“There is a lot I have to learn from you. Akshardham (in Gandhinagar) is a masterpiece. It’s a great idea,” he praised.

“It was Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s inspiration and the sadhus’ hard work,” Swamishri replied in brief.
“All of your devotees have this sense of energy and zeal. They never quit or tire. There is a divine force working in them. Your sadhus are educated and work professionally. You get everything done. It is amazing. Please give me a few words of advice,” he requested.

“God has given us this human body. We should always use it to help others. The goal of this body is to attain moksha for our atma. Spirituality is the key. Satsang helps us to realize the difference between right and wrong. Satsang also helps us to realize that one day you are going to leave all this behind. You must work to liberate your atma.”
Swamishri lives that advice in his own life. That is why he is able to work proficiently and never desires credit.
