Three youths from Sussex, England, had developed an interest in Hinduism and were visiting India to gain a firsthand experience. David, Daniel and Richard had met quite a few sadhus during their time in India but did not come in contact with Pramukh Swami Maharaj. One night, after their return to England, David had Swamishri’s darshan in a dream. After discussing the information he recalled from the dream with his friends they all came to the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden, London. On 5 May 1994, David and his friends came for Swamishri’s darshan. David experienced peace, satisfaction and fulfilment upon seeing Swamishri.

David had a question, “Four days ago, you graced me with your darshan in my dream. You told me about nirvikalp samadhi or experiencing communion with God. In fact, you gave me a practical demonstration where I experienced it as well. Do you constantly experience that bliss in everything that you do? ”

Swamishri replied, “Yes. Because while I walk, talk and in everything else that I do I have God with me.

The ease and confidence with which Swamishri answered the question convinced David.
