Swamishri often says, “Our home and mandir should be clean, so that God would like to stay there. How can you expect God to stay where there is filth? Keeping the mandir clean inspires everyone to keep their homes clean. If everyone kept their home and neighbourhoods clean, it would make the whole country a cleaner place.”
