It was the occasion for the murti-pratishtha (Murti-installation ceremony) of the newly built Shikarbadh Mandir in Sankari. Before the murti-pratishtha, the murtis were going to be in the shobha yatra (a grand procession) around town. Before Swamishri was about to take his afternoon nap, Krishnavallabh Swami offered a pill to him.
“I will not be able to swallow it without my dentures,” Swamishri replied.
“Since it is a vitamin tablet there’s no problem in taking it at 4 p.m. when you put your dentures on,” informed Yogicharan Swami.
Divyapurush Swami added, “You can take it with your routine juice.”
“There’s no need for the juice. I can take it with water,” Swamishri responded.
The attendant sadhus tried to persuade Swamishri to take it with juice, but then Swamishri finally said, “When Thakorji is in the procession, how can I have juice?”
The sadhus realized why Swamishri was refusing the whole time. Swamishri’s murti of Harikrishna Maharaj would be in the procession from early afternoon to evening so Swamishri would not take the juice if it had not been offered to Maharaj first.
