“We’ll go right now.”

In 1979 Swamishri was in Ahmedabad doing padhramani at devotee’s houses. He was travelling in a riksha and on the street 6 year old Anup recognized Swamishri. He ran behind the riksha yelling, “Hey! That’s Swami Bapa, that’s Swami Bapa!” Swamishri told the riksha driver to stop. Anup ran to the riksha and Swamishri had him sit in the riksha. He was jumping with joy. Anup innocently asked Swamishri, “Will you come to my house?” Swamishri never refuses the wishes of his balaks.

He said, “Why not? Actually, we’ll go right now.” The riksha driver drove straight to the Anup’s house. Arriving in front of his little house, Anup held Swamishri’s finger and walked to the front door. Swamishri did padhramani at his home and then said to him, “Anup, tomorrow come to mandir and I’ll give you some prasad.”

Swamishri fulfilled this little balaks wish. The next day Anup came to mandir and Swamishri fed him prasad as promised.

The President of BAPS sat in a riksha and went to a little balak’s little house. Yet, he didn’t believe this to be extraordinary. This is his extraordinariness.
