In Ahmedabad there was a devotee who had a 6 year old son that couldn’t hear well. He brought him to mandir to receive blessings from Swamishri. The child had an operation done on his ears with the hope that his hearing ability would increase. The father told Swamishri, “He still has a difficult time hearing.” Swamishri said in his ears, “Swaminarayan Swaminarayan.” Then while doing the action he said, “Everyday perform one mala saying Swaminarayan Swaminarayan. Will you be able to do it?”

Though, the kid didn’t hear what Swamishri had said. So Swamishri yelled this time so he could hear and said, “Right now say Swaminarayan Swaminarayan.” He heard this time and repeated what Swamishri had said to him.

Hearing his response Swamishri was pleased and said, “Great! From now on continue to do bhajan in this manner.”
