In the evening sabha in the Mandir, Swamishri said, "No matter how great the material pursuits, they will not lead to happiness. Peace comes by surrendering to God, doing 'bhajan' and 'bhakti'. It is not that we should not do our worldly duties, but we should not forget our daily worship. Although we've met God and His Sadhu, there still remains discord. Why? Because of ignorance, craving for worldly pleasures and the inability to obey the commands."
