Swami Bapa and Swetanshu:
A small boy named Swetanshu went to visit Swami Bapa. One morning, when Swami Bapa
was doing his daily puja, Swetanshu ran joyfully towards Bapa and stood there quietly, looking at Bapa. Swami Bapa knew right away what Swetanshu wanted. Bapa then reached for his mirror that he uses to apply his tilak-chandlo, and held it in front of Swetanshu's face. Seeing his tilakchandlo brought a smile across Swetanshu's face. After receiving what he wanted, Swetanshu joyfully skipped away.
Swami Bapa Understands:
Bapa are you my friend?
Swami Bapa is everybody's best friend.
Bapa is our friend because…
…he waits for us.
…he will take us along the right path.
…he is a friend of our friends.
What Bapa Likes:
Once a balak asked, "Bapa, what
do you like the most?"
Swami Bapa replied, "I like it
when all of you sing bhajans and offer
bhakti (devotion). I like it when you
come to Bal Mandal and offer
prarthana (prayer). I like it when you
study hard for school. All these things
I like very much. |
