On 8 May 2004 in London, the editor of Garavi Gujurat asked Swami Bapa, “You travel around the world. Which city or place are you attracted to most?” Swami Bapa replied, “I am only attracted to Bhagwan.”
No matter where he is or what is doing, Swami Bapa is never interested in what will make him happy; he is only interested in what will make Maharaj happy.
Swamishri often says, “If one learns to be content with what God gives us there is no sorrow. If we wish for things and then don’t get them, we will be distraught and saddened. If one is content with whatever God gives us then peace is attained.”
It is this profound spiritual understanding that enables Swamishri to be satisfied and transparent at all times.
In the Mahabharat, Veda Vyasji says, “Deceit is evil; transparency and simplicity are the way to God. This is true knowledge.” |
