Swamishri’s car arrived at the Pride Hall in New York for the evening assembly. When Swamishri started walking towards the hall, Mahendrabhai Patel, a volunteer from Boston, called out, “Swami wait for a while. We have as yet to unroll the carpet for you.” But Swamishri continued walking on the lawn towards the hall. Then he stopped for a moment and asked for Mahendrabhai to come to him. When the volunteer arrived, Swamishri pointed to the green lawn “This is God’s carpet. Isn’t it a lush green!” Mahendrabhai was amazed by Swamishri’s simplicity as he walked towards the hall.
