Beyond All Barriers

One of the sadhus asked Swamishri, 'Yogiji Maharaj preferred to stay in Gondal more than any other place. Do you have a favorite place where you like to stay more?'

A God-communion Sadhu is beyond boundaries and borders. It seems to our mind that Yogiji Maharaj liked one place more than another. But this is due to the limitations of our human mind. In reality, a God-realized Sadhu is here, there and everywhere.

In this small phrase Swamishri highlighted the salient feature of a God-communion Sadhu. He seems free in the sense that he never sees the natural order frustrating. This being so, nothing binds him or shakes him. Nothing disrupts his peace of mind. He feels no lack, no misery, no fear and finds no sense for strife or grief. He is always in good spirits, agreeable and joyful. It is we who have likes and dislikes, and when they are not satisfied, we are disturbed.
