Guidance for Life

Swamishri was addressing the youths who had come from India to serve in London mandir,
"You should never miss katha. Place a big alarm clock next to your beds and when it rings you should all get up. You are all young, but if you develop a habit of being lazy, you'll not be able to achieve much in the future. You should attend the arti.

"First look after your atma (soul) and then your body. It's because God has given us our mind and strength that we can do things. What if God hadn't woken us up from our sleep? We'd be taken to the crematorium! We are indebted to God for giving us a balanced and healthy body. So, our first duty is to thank God.
"That is why you must first go for darshan and then sit in the katha. In this way, you'll develop good virtues and God and His holy sadhu will be pleased."
