Swamishri was on his way for the darshan of Thakorji in London mandir. Near the lift, he saw a youth. Noticing that his forehead was bare, Swamishri asked him, "Why is your forehead bare? Don't you apply the tilak-chandlo?"

The youth had no answer, but promised, "I'll do it from now." Meanwhile, Swamishri had entered the lift and was on his way up to the main shrines.

Making his way round, Swamishri paused at each shrine for darshan. Standing beside the shrine of Hanumanji were Shrikant Patel and Ashok Dalia. Swamishri stopped, and observing the tilak-chandlo on Shrikant's forehead, said, "Daliya, keep your neighbor's company. Why is your forehead bare? Is anyone stopping you? You should start applying the tilak-chandlo from today."
Then Swamishri used the lift to return downstairs. There, the youth whom Swamishri had met on the way up had applied a chandlo. Seeing him, Swamishri expressed his pleasure and blessed him for having instantly followed his wish.
