One afternoon in 1982 at Amdavad, Swamishri was taking lunch when Jnanyagna Swami recited a popular quotation in English. I then quoted Socrates' famous words: "I know only one thing, that I know nothing."

Swamishri was very pleased when he heard this statement. He commented, "Yes. This is the way. If one can really imbibe these words, one would never feel like talking ill of anyone."
