A young boy named Kirtan asked Swamishri, "Bapa, what is the difference between the murti of Ghanshyam Maharaj in Abu and the murti of Harikrishna Maharaj with you?"
Swamishri replied, "There is no difference at all. They are one."
Kirtan had observed that Swamishri's Thakorji - Shri Harikrishna Maharaj - is offered profuse devotion and receives maximum attention and respect from all.
To satisfy a child's curiosity regarding the difference in his mind, Swamishri conveyed that though the murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan may be different in name and form yet it is the same Shriji Maharaj who accepts the devotion and prayers of devotees in all of them. |
