Swamishri arrived in London on 7th April 1988 to commence his 12th foreign tour. In the evening, a grand welcome assembly was held in the mandir. Thousands of devotees from all over England had come to be blessed by Swamishri's darshan. Inspite of the fact that Swamishri was weary after a long and tiring flight, he insisted on blessing all the devotees individually. He sat through the session looking totally relaxed and refreshed. The devotees felt enriched by Swamishri's divine contact and went away bubbling with joy. Towards the end of the session, an aged devotee came to Swamishri with his young grandson Romin.

 "Romin keeps telling me he wants to see Swamishri's janoi (sacred thread)," remarked the old man.

Swamishri immediately lifted his gataryu (upper cloth) and showed Romin his Janoi. The little boy's heart filled with excitement, his long cherished dream had been fulfilled. He trotted away happily behind his grandfather.

To us, Romin's wish sounds small and irrelevant. But for Romin, it meant the world. Swamishri always has time for children.
