Once, in the village of Sunav, at the end of his puja (morning worship), Swamishri was making an offering of food to the murti of Thakorji.
A devotee had lovingly made some shiro (a sweet dish) at home and brought it to be offered to God. As soon as Swamishri took the plate of shiro in his hands, he found it to be too hot. Subsequently, he put the plate down and waited for it to cool down. Every now and then Swamishri would touch the shiro with his fingers to see if it was cool enough to eat. Ten minutes went by before Swamishri could finally offer the shiro to "Thakorji".
Everyone who was watching felt how dear Thakorji was to Swamishri. Only one who has exuberant love for God can offer such subtle devotion!
