After a public meeting in the evening, Swamishri returned to his residence. One of the sadhus was offering food and water (thal) to the murti of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj. Swamishri came quietly and stood behind the sadhu for the Lord's darshan. When the sadhu realized that Swamishri was behind him, Swamiji smiled and gently pointed out his mistake, "You were offering water to the Lord's eyes." The sadhu had held the little glass of water to the Lord's eyes while offering thal. The sadhu felt a little embarrassed for his mistake.

To cure this, Swamiji said: "The Lord can drink not only from his mouth but also from is eyes, from his back,… Bhagatji Maharaj had countless eyes ('anant lochan') - he could see even from his back."
