A few days after his bypass operation, Swamishri was listening to passages from the scriptures. Just then Robert, one of Swamishri's nurses, entered. He was going out of town for the weekend and would not be present on Monday when Swamishri was due to leave the hospital. So he had come to take Swamishri's leave and wished him, 'Jai Swaminarayan'.
Swamishri said, "Blessings..."
Robert promised, "Swami, I will come to India... Mumbai." Swamishri invited him to Gandhinagar and insisted he come there and nodded happily. Robert agreed too. Then he went closer to Swamishri and asked Swamishri in Gujarati, "Kem chho Swamibapa?" Swamishri replied, "Saru chhe... fine!"
Then as Robert was leaving, Viveksagar Swami gave him a murti of the guru parampara. He looked at it and said, "Amazing experience, really very great experience." He folded his hands in prayer and continued, "Jai Swami-narayan... I'm going... Avjo... Goodbye." Then he placed his hand on his heart and said, "I will keep you here."
