    Tolerance

Tolerance

Tolerance is having patience with difficult people. It's taking insults without letting them affect you. And it's also accepting other people difference without insults them. How can we better practice the quality of tolerance in our lives?

Jay Swaminarayan and hi! We can maybe think before we talk instead of just blurting everything out. You have to think if it's kind, necessary, and will it cause any trouble you or the other person any kind of punishment you wouldn't want. If you have a test, and you think it is super hard, you probably get the feeling to blow up, disappear, or throw the test across there floor into the trash can. There are thousands of ways you can have patience, yet I only shared 2. Jay Swaminarayan and bye!

We can better practice the quality of tolerance in our lives by looking up to Pramukh Swami Maharaj and how he tolerated by visiting 122 villages while having a 102 degree fever and doing a Nirjala fast on the day.

Think about Bapa.He has gone through many more hardships than us.When he went to London,he got insulted by a man.Swami though, felt pity for him & offered food to him!We can't even tolerate someone teasing us.This just creates anger through ourselves. If we think about how our guru/role model tolerated it,then we can too!

Jai Swaminarayan. We can better practice the quality of tolerance in our lives by taking those insults. If we take the insults, we know what we are doing wrong and use the insult in our life so we know how to improve our mistake so we never do it again. When we are insulted it means we are pointed to our own mistake.

We can listen to katha to get guidance. Keep a photo of Bapa with you, so if people insult you, you can say Swaminarayan and use the picture to give you strength. Remember the prasangs of Bapa, when He was insulted and learn from them.

Jay Swaminarayan. Most of us ourselves know that we are not tolerant when our siblings take the toy we fight. But we should learn from Yogiji Maharaj the symbol of Tolerance. In our lives from now on we should just try to fight less and when someone takes something talk to them ask them. We can also ignore b people or bad company. Jay Swaminarayan.

We can better practice the quality of tolerance by looking at some prasangs from our Guru Parampara. We have to learn how to be patience. If we can remember the quote "In the joy of others lies our own" we can understand better. We can understand that what people say might not always be correct. They are just words and words are a group of letters. We shouldn't let them affect us. If we learn from our Guru Mahant Swami Maharaj and Bapa we should learn from them. For example if one day we go across some mean kids and they call us names, it wouldn't be correct for us to do something back. We should also learn that revenge will just make the problem bigger. Mahatama Ghandhi once said " An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind."

Jai Swaminarayan! according to me having tolerance is very tough. We can better practice the quality of tolerance in our lives by staying calm all the time. Our gurus have also tolerated. Bhagatji maharaj was known in the temple as the person to get most insulted. Many times people of Vadtal tried to kill Shastriji maharaj but he never complained and stayed calm all the time. Yogiji maharaj was many times insulted and beaten by Vigyandas swami but he showed great tolerance. Many people posted wrong comments about Pramukh swami but he never reacted on it. Shriji maharaj has told in shikshapatri, the holy book that if anyone hits or insults you, you should not take revenge and wish for his benefit. Our gurus have tolerated a lot and getting inspired by them we should try to tolerate.

We can practice haveing tolerance and patiences in our life in many ways. First we can do gara sabha and spend time with your family. Second stay in touch with santhos and lestin to swami nevato , vachramrut, and katha. Third, watch less tv thats where most kids and audults see people fighting and not keepig SAMP in their family and they do the same. Finnaly, DON'T raise your voice with elders , respect elders, help elders, don't talk back.

Jai swaminarayan, Yogiji maharaja would often tell that a person who tolerates is called 'ekantik'. If a person tells that ' you are so nice' it doesn't mean tolerance but, if a person tells that 'you're a empty-headed fool' it means tolerance and such a person is called ekantik .Even our guru Pramukh Swami Maharaja had tolerated manyvtimes. So Maahant Swami will only be happy when we tolerate

Tolerance may seem hard to practice. But as Bapa always says, hard work + prayers = success. We should always remember Maharaj and Swami. If someone comes and tells us we are dumb, think, that doesn't make us dumb. Let that person think whatever they want, we know the truth. Besides, whatever Mahant Swami Maharaj does is for our own good. Maybe something 10 times worse was going to happen because of our karma. Maharaj may of ended it with something smaller. We should in the end remember Maharaj and Swami. Every day in puja if we pray to them to help us overcome being intolerant, they will surely help us. Just think, if Mahant Swami was in our place, what would he do? Would he be happy if we yelled at someone because they called us dumb? No. So remembering Maharaj and Swami can help us better practice the quality of tolerance in our lives.

We can practice tolerance in lives by not over reacting to the small stuff. Everything that happens in your life is Swami Bapa's wish. We should not jump to conclusions without understanding the situation and we should think before we speak. Our tolerance power increases when we give time to understand others. People can have their own strengths and weaknesses, accept them the way they are. So you can reduce chances of disagreements or fights. Give others a chance to prove themselves. You should forgive others and not take too much to mind. For example, if your mom farts forgive her and accept her the way she is.

I think to practice tolerance better we need to learn to ignore what is not important in our life and concentrate on our ultimate goal

I think that we need to carry on,on what we are doing and not concentrate on others. we need to have one target to better practice the quality of tolerance.

Jay swaminarayan As told above that tolerance is having patience with difficult people.I strongly believe that tolerance power is developed only by the devotion to the God. If we have the patience then only we can tolerate the greatest insult and that patience is developed by our faith in god. So more you believe in god more will be the tolerance in you.

We can better practice the quality of tolerance in our lives by doing antardrashti. Everyday you can ask yourself what you could have done in a situation where you were being insulted. Gradually you will become better at being patient and tolerant in such difficult situations.

We can better practice tolerance in our lives by looking up to our guru parampara. Shastriji Maharaj tolerated all the negative people who didn't support Akshar Purshotam. By knowing this we can tolerate all the maya and negativity in our daily lives.

If you throw a little rock in water then water will be disturbed but if the water becames ice then rock will bounce ,same Maharaj and our guru parampara said that being Atmarup and knowing our atma as Satpurush is the best way to tolerate. another way is thinking that what will Mahant Swami Maharaj do if he would be in same situation.

Tolerance is the most necessary quality of man.tolerance is one of the conditions of good manners.we can better practice it by controlling or handling the situation carefully and silently.otherwise it leads to disaster and affects us and the opposite person

Jai Swaminarayan One way to practice tolerance in our lives is that if we get insulted by someone or we have to get through any circumstance that requires us to tolerate, we can think what would Bapa or Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj do if They were in our place. We could think about Bapa's calm reaction when a man came to the stage during Bapa's Suvarna Tula and started insulting Him. Another way is to think, " Would Bapa and Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj be happy with my reaction?" In this way, we can better practice the quality of tolerance in our lives. Jai Swaminarayan

Bapa always tolerates. Not just bapa but our other gurus too. they are showing us that whenever you are fustrated and someone says that they shouldn't then you shoud not shout back because this doesn't please bapa and maharaj, instead you can ignore. Jai Swaminarayan!!
